About This Game

Hexa Stack Sort (Hexa Sort Puzzle) is a Topological Sorting and Recursive Merging game. The technical core is the "Neighbor-Detection Algorithm": when a stack is placed on a peg, the system checks adjacent pegs for matching "Color IDs." It emphasizes Chain-Reaction Planning and "Stack-Depth Optimization."

How to Play

Drag stacks of colored hexagons onto empty grid pegs. The gameplay is Proximity-Based Sorting: place a color next to an identical color to trigger a "Merge." Interaction involves Numerical Compaction—when 10+ hexagons of the same color stack on one peg, they are "reaped," granting points and clearing space for new moves.

Tips & Tricks

High scores depend on "Merge Cascades." The pro secret is "Intermediate Buffering." Don't try to complete a 10-stack immediately. Instead, distribute colors across two or most adjacent pegs to create a "Bridge." When you drop the final piece, it triggers a "Multi-Peg Sweep," clearing 3 or 4 areas in a single move for a massive point multiplier.

Got Questions?

Q: Why didn't the colors merge?
💡 A: Merging only occurs if the "Top Layer" of the adjacent stack matches the color of the stack you just placed. "Buried" colors do not trigger merges.
Q: What happens when the grid is full?
💡 A: If every peg is occupied and no "Top-Layer" matches are possible, the logic reaches a "Deadlock," and the game ends.
